Every two or three years since the 80´s the World Congress is arranged by STMS, the last conference was held in Stockholm, Sweden with 200 participants. The theme for the conference was "Connecting Generations and Professions" hosted by Sophiahemmet University. Many great presentations were given by world class scientists in different fields such as; Physiology, Biomechanics, Prevention, Performance, Psychology, Epidemiology, Coaching and much more!
In 2023 the World Congress arrives to Palma, Mallorca!
